Course Guide 2009-2010
Now available online as a downloadable pdf with hyperlinks, this eighth edition of the Human Rights at Harvard Course Guide lists over 250 courses offered in 2009-2010, including many NEW undergraduate human rights courses.
Where possible, we have linked the guide directly to the course description and course site; however please check with the individual registrars for complete and updated information.
The guide is intended to assist Harvard students interested in learning about human rights from a wide range of perspectives. Since defining what falls within human rights studies is a matter of choice and debate, this compilation of courses is inclusive and wide-ranging, but not comprehensive. Many courses touch upon topics that relate to human rights studies, and UCHRS encourages students to use this guide as a starting point. We hope that its diverse content will facilitate cross-disciplinary interactions. Although registration in some of the courses listed is restricted, many are open to all students.
