Workshop Location

The Child as Citizen Workshop will be held November 9-10, 2009 at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS).

The pre-event reception and dinner on November 9th will be held in the North Dining Room.  The daytime workshop on November 10th will be held in the Council Room of the AAAS.

Travel

From Logan Airport: To take the "T," purchase a Charlie Ticket ($2) just outside of baggage claim. Take the Silver Line to South Station. Switch to the Red Line inbound (toward Alewife), go six stops and get off at Harvard. The subway ride from Logan Airport takes approximately 45 minutes. Participants may also choose to take a taxi cab (20-30 minutes, usually about $35).

From South Station (by train): Take the Red Line inbound (toward Alewife), go six stops and get off at Harvard.

From the Harvard T stop, exit at the "Church St. exit" and take the righthand staircase. You should be in front of "The Body Shop." Facing away from the shop, walk to your left along Massachusetts Ave. for approximately 250 feet (85m). Make a left onto Garden St. and walk 2/5 mi (700m); you will see a red lighted sign that says "Sheraton Commander."

From the Harvard T stop to the Sheraton Commander: From the Harvard T stop, exit at the "Church St. exit" and take the right-hand staircase. You should be in front of "The Body Shop."
